Carolina SeniorCare in Lexington, NC launched a new website in September. The website, http://www.carolinaseniorcare.org, shares valuable information and resources available through PACE, a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly.
Carolina SeniorCare, a home and community-based services program of United Church Homes and Services (UCHS), has been approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the State of North Carolina to administer a PACE Program to service Davidson, Rowan, Davie and Iredell Counties.
PACE is a comprehensive health care program designed to address the desires of seniors who have disabilities or health concerns and wish to remain in their community while receiving all needed medical and supportive services in their home. This model of health care has been in existence for over 30 years throughout the United States. The program focus is on prevention, wellness, and a commitment to enhance the quality of life of seniors and their families through care and support.
The new website provides information on PACE eligibility, services offered – both medical and non-medical, day center activities, and in-home services. The site has downloadable brochures regarding enrollment in the PACE program. Visitors will also find a link to Carolina SeniorCare’s Facebook page on the new website, making it easy to stay connected and informed.
“With enrollment beginning in October, we are excited to have the website available to showcase our services,” shared Aimee Reimann, Executive Director of Carolina SeniorCare. “The site will be a helpful resource to those seeking information on community services and care giving, with blogs and newsworthy articles added periodically to keep visitors informed.”
