The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) has named web application development firm page10, as a finalist in the Innovative Collaboration category for the 2012 Tekne Awards, which will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012. The Tekne Award finalists are selected by an independent panel of judges and recognize Minnesota companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.
Page10, selected as the technology / web design partner for http://www.Unitedway211.org, collaborated with the United Way and Ceridian to provide online access to the same vast network of human services providers as the United Way supported 211 call center. Through a self-serve web search application, United Way 211 searches a database of over 80,000 partner services across Minnesota. Based on search criteria the system delivers critical contact and support information to those in need. Additionally, a full featured Content Management System (CMS) helps United Ways service professionals easily manage content and data in real time ensuring information is always current. Additional messaging features were also added to effectively distribute critical information in case of emergencies.
The Tekne Awards recognize those whose leadership and dedication to technological innovation helps demonstrate Minnesota as a global player in technology-based markets, said Margaret Anderson Kelliher, President & CEO of MHTA.
